COMPASSION
Growing strong character and stronger families - one patch at a time.
Compassionate children notice when others are hurting and choose to help. We recommend choosing a timeline to focus on this attribute (a week, a month, etc.) And prioritizing intentional, doable tasks to cultivate Compassion together!
HOW TO ENCOURAGE COMPASSION WITH YOUR CHILD
- Help them notice emotions in others: "How do you think she felt when that happened?"
- Model compassion in your daily life - let them see you helping neighbors, friends, or strangers
- Sponsor a child in need and involve your child in the process
- Send them off to school by saying "I am compassionate!" together

DAILY RITUALS
Character growth happens at your pace, so you can spend as long as you want nurturing COMPASSION in your child! Whether you focus on it for a week or a month, we encourage daily touchpoints to keep your child focused.
What does progress look like?
Your child is growing in compassion when...
• They start showing care in small ways, like picking up trash they see in nature
• They empathize more ("Mom, my friend must have felt so nervous standing in front of the class today!")
• They see sadness in others clearer
Celebrate Their Progress
When your child is ready to represent their Compassion Patch, show off their Patch on any one of our play-proof products.
